Get to know DarlineDarline Graham is a native of Central, South Carolina, with nearly three decades of public-service experience. Her career includes roles at Clemson University and in state employment and vocational-rehabilitation agencies.
She became commissioner of the South Carolina Commission for the Blind in 2019. Her work there focused on employment, rehabilitation, and independent living for people who are blind or have low vision.
Darline earned a bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston and a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling. Governor Henry McMaster appointed her to the U.S. Senate in July 2026. She lives in Lexington and is a wife and mother.
